'Reply All' is an observation of life in a world where there's too much information, awareness, and honesty. The main character, Lizzie (Elizabeth at work), is aggressively positive. Yet, after many years of introspection and self-discovery, she still has much to hide and nowhere left to hide it. Despite herself, Lizzie has achieved success and satisfaction in life. Unfortunately, she is still ruled by her fifth-grade voice.
Time to Be Fabulous
Laura is Lizzie's cousin. They're close like sisters, but not doomed by the smothering bonds of sisterhood. Laura and Lizzie spend their time together obsessing about things that don't really matter. Or the only things that matter, depending on your perspective. Laura is divorced, the mother of annoyingly intelligent teenage girls and hopelessly, shamelessly passionate about everything.
A Serious Subject
What Does One Wear?
Mark and Lizzie are friends who spend a lot of time explaining why they're not dating each other. They did try once. Or twice. Or seven times. Neither one is sure why it doesn't work, but it doesn't matter. No how hard they try to see the other one differently, it always ends up the same. When Harry Met Sally. Without the ending.
This is Why!
Affection
Jill is Lizzie's friend and relentlessly dedicated exercise partner. Jill will consider almost any idea for getting serious about exercise and fitness and working out. Following through is a different story, though, and the challenge to follow through is a special bond that keeps Jill and Lizzie working toward a new goal everyday.

Walk a Bit Longer
Ann is Lizzie's colleague and friend. Ann is happily married and runs a successful household while maintaining a successful career. Lizzie leans on Ann for support, advice and a general ear. Lizzie is also pretty sure that Ann is hiding some secret dysfunction that just hasn't been discovered yet.
Nothing Bad Happened
Janie is Lizzie's most resourceful friend. Unfortunately, Janie hates change. The bad economy hit Janie hard when she got laid off. Luckily, Janie is very resourceful. Unfortunately, being laid off means change. How will Janie handle it all? And can she handle it despite her friends' attempts to be supportive?
What a Day!
A Bit More Positive
Everyone needs a hangout and Lizzie's favorite is Mo Mocha, a local bookstore/coffee shop where musicians, literature geeks and laptop junkies gather to be introverted in the company of strangers. Mo, the owner, is tiny with a huge voice. There is no shortage of guys with guitars and a dream to trade in the 9-5 for the studio. Lizzie spends way too many hours nursing coffee and the internet at Mo's.
