The Total Package began with this little lady, d'Bella.
One day, a few of us were sitting around waiting to start a workshop on a snowy Saturday. We waited five minutes, then ten minutes, then fifteen minutes. Eventually, after we had eaten all of the workshop snacks, we realized that the snow was keeping folks away.
Full of snacks and obligated to stay in case folks made it in, we broke out the markers and paper and began drawing.
Flowers, trees, and abstracts emerged. So did d'Bella. And thus began The Total Package.
For a long time, The Total Package was just rough stick figures of d'Bella on personalized "keep it together!" notes for friends and colleagues. These days, d'Bella has become a character with fleshy cartoon parts and she has a dog!
